A Mango ice cream somewhere in between and ice cream and a sorbet.. I call it my Faux Mango sorbet! (best of both worlds!)
Ingredients
2 ripe pulpy Mango
200 ml Yoghurt or Plain Set curd
to taste Sugar
Steps
- Scoop out the pulp of the mangoes. I used Alphonso for this one (medium size)
- Place them in a Mixer/Blender with the yoghurt and sugar and combine
- Pour into an airtight container and set in freezer
- After half an hour, take it out and mix it well to obtain a thick creamy consistence
- Place back in the freezer to set for another minutes
- Delicious ice cream is ready to serve!! Slurppppp 🙂
Always use mangoes with juicy pulp and not the fibrous ones. You don’t want fibre clusters in your ice cream or stuck on your blender blades..
