Quick Vegetable Pulao


A simple pulao that takes only under 15 minutes to make!


4 tbsp Vegetable oil

1/2 cup chopped Carrots, beans, green peas

1 piece Cinnamon stick

1 piece crushed Cardamom

2 Bay leaves

2 Cloves

1 Star anise

1 cup Basmati rice

2 cups Water

Salt to taste

1. Heat oil oil in the pressure cooker and add the whole spices and saute

2. Add the vegetables and saute for a minute

3. Add water and salt and boil

4. Add basmati rice and cover with the cooker lid and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes

Serve hot.
