Ingredients

1 Onion
2 Tomato
6 Habanero Pepper
8 Chicken sausages
5 Bacon Slice
2 Ham Slice
To Taste Salt
To Taste Pepper
To Taste Fresh herbs (Basil, rosemary)
1 Tablespoon barbecue sauce
1 Teaspoon Honey
1/4 Cup Roasted Peanuts (optional)
Oil

Steps

  1. Dice the onions. Cut the peppers into long and thin strips. Sautee the two in very little oil till the onions turn lightly pink. Remove and toss with honey.
  2. Remove the pulpy flesh of the tomatoes and dice. Add this to the onions and peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste (remember that the sauce for bacon will have a bit of salt)
  3. Toast the sausages with very little oil and slice into thin rings. Mix this with the Onions and tomatoes set aside
  4. Brush bbq sauce on the bacon strips and toast both sides. Cut the ham into small triangles and Toast.
  5. Combine the meat with the rest of the prepared ingredients and roasted peanuts
  6. Chop the herbs fine and sprinkle and garnish. Delicious bacon and ham salad’s ready!
