Ingredients

1 Ginger (1 inch piece)
2 Greenchillies
1/2 Coconut (small)
1/4 Cup water
1/4 Cup curd
1/4 Cup Dried prawns
To Taste Salt
Mustard (for seasoning)
Curry Leaves (for seasoning)
Red dry chilli (for seasoning)
3 Cups Cooked rice

Steps

  1. Cut the coconut into small pieces and grind the ingredients from Ginger through to curd to get a paste
  2. In a pan, heat oil, splutter mustard and the rest of the ingredients for seasoning
  3. add the prepared paste along with dried prawns and salt. Let boil so that the raw smell goes. Add water is required.
  4. Once this is cooled down, mix in the cooked rice
  5. Tastes surprisingly good, but is not for anybody who like to have their rice really dry
