Coffee and almond cake

Ingredients

3/4 cup All purpose flour
2 Numbers Egg
1 tablespoon Vanilla essence
1 tablespoon Instant Coffee powder
1/4 cup Milk
2/3 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/4 cup Sliced Almonds

Steps

  1. Separate the egg white from the yolk
  2. Beat the egg whites till stiff peaks form and set aside
  3. Combine all the dry ingredients together well
  4. Now combine all the wet ingredients thoroughly with the dry ingredients, except for the egg whites
  5. Fold in the egg whites gently
  6. Prepare the cake tin by greasing and dusting or by spraying non stick cooking spray
  7. Pour in the batter in the cake tin.
  8. Now arrange the almond slices on top of the batter
  9. Bake in oven for 50 minutes at 360 degree Fahrenheit
