Ingredients
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 cup Water
3/4 cup Coconut milk (thick, unsweetened)
2 tsp Sugar
Recipe
1. Heat the water, turmeric powder and sugar in a pan or microwave (1 minute for the microwave) until the sugar is completely dissolved and turmeric loses its raw smell
2. Add the coconut milk to this and mix well
3. Bring to a boil and let sit for a minute before straining and serving. (If using the microwave this would be three 30 second bursts on full power)
Optional: add 1/8 tsp of cardomom powder at the first step for a fragrant drink
